Different Faces Of Hong Kong ...
Hong Kong was a mixture of old and new, steeped in many scents of colonial past mixed with modern orient.
Even the trip from the airport is quite an experience. Coming by bus, you can see the wonderful, modern skyscrapers, as well as the usual block of flats in which ordinary residents of this wonderful city live. Referred to as the meeting place of East and West, after nearly 150 years of British sovereignty, in 1997 Hong Kong returned to China.
Victoria Bay Coast
Coast of Victoria Bay offers spectacular views of Hong Kong. The coastline is strewn with skyscrapers, which makes a big impression, both during day and night. There are ferries that can take you anywhere on the coast. The bay itself is the heart of Hong Kong and you can find many interesting places there, such as the avenue of stars of the Asian cinema with a statue of Bruce Lee.
Panorama of the City from the Victoria Peak.
The Victoria Peak is undoubtedly the best place to admire the panorama of Hong Kong. At the top of 552 meter hill that can be reached using historic railway, operating since 1888, you find the observation deck, along with a complex of restaurants and shops. It overlooks the entire Victoria Bay, which from this perspective is even more impressive. At the top you can also admire picturesque houses from colonial era.
Incredible Hong Kong by night.
Hong Kong by night is almost a fairy-tale place. We recommend choosing one of the cruises around the bay, along with dinner, where you will be able to admire the illuminated coast of The Victoria Bay. Most cruises keeps the old atmosphere of the eighties with live bands performing for the crowds. During the cruise, you can also enjoy a 14-minute Symphony of Light Show from the tallest skyscrapers in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is undoubtedly a very interesting place and well worth staying there for a few days. It offers a blend of the cultures of East and West, modernity and tradition and amazing climate of Asia.
